Message from the Clerk:  In compliance with California Government Code Section 54952.3, the Clerk hereby announces that the compensation for legislative body members attending the following simultaneous or serial meetings is: Board of Directors $100; Transportation Committee $100; Land Use & Natural Resources Committee $100; Policy & Innovation Committee $100, Strategic Planning Committee $100, Race, Equity and Inclusion Working Group $100, Funding Round Working Group $100.  Compensation rates for these meetings are set pursuant to the Rules for the Sacramento Area Council of Governments adopted in July 2005.

City of Folsom Planning Efforts: Central District Revitalization and Multi-family Design Standards (Gregory Chew) (Est. Time: 20 minutes)
  • The City of Folsom’s 2035 General Plan directs new mixed-use development opportunities along the East Bidwell Corridor. The City Council recently voted to establish a coordinated vision, land use and circulation plan, and guidelines/streetscape improvement plans for revitalization of the Central Business District section of the East Bidwell Corridor over a two-year period. In addition, the city is utilizing SACOG grant funding to increase residential densities in three key areas of the city: East Bidwell Mixed-use Corridor Green Zone, around the Transit Priority Area Green Zones (primarily along the Glenn/Iron Point light rail stations), and in the Folsom Plan Area's Town Center.

  • ​​The 2025 Blueprint Outreach and Engagement program is in full swing. This month, staff will highlight some of the work already completed or underway and provide a few early themes from the engagement thus far.​
